  What to look for

Fresh Fruits & Vegetables

Match the details!
Is the recall for fresh bulk produce or packaged produce?

Match identifying marks such as check for brand, best if used by date (BIUB), and production code.

If the product details don't match the recall notice details then there is no need to be concerned or to take action.

The recall of one product does not mean all forms of that product are potentially a problem.  If the recalled product is a fresh vegetable and you have a canned vegetable, then there is nothing to worry about.  You should feel comfortable consuming that product.

If you find that you do have the specific product being recalled; do not open or consume it.
