What to look for |
|
In-store Prepared or Deli Products (pre-made sandwiches, salads, etc.)
|
-Product type -Product and/or Store Brand -Look for label information as listed in recall notice -Check with the store where you bought the product |
Match the details!
Match identifying marks such as product type (sandwich, salad, soup, etc.), product and/or store brand, then look for label information as listed in the recall notice. For any further questions consult your food retailer.
If the product details don't match the recall notice details then there is no need to be concerned or to take action.
The recall of one product does not mean all forms of that product are potentially a problem. If the recalled product is a fresh vegetable and you have a canned vegetable, then there is nothing to worry about. You should feel comfortable consuming that product.
If you find that you do have the specific product being recalled; do not open or consume it.
